Companion Construction is excited to share the successful completion of the Calvary Worship Centre, located at 11358 128 Street, Surrey, BC. This project, which embodies our commitment to building strong relationships, is a true representation of the collaborative effort between our team and the amazing community at Calvary Worship Centre.

From the start, this project presented several unique challenges. The scale of the sanctuary was a significant undertaking, requiring us to find the right experts to bring this ambitious vision to life. Partnering with skilled professionals was key to overcoming the technical complexities involved in delivering a space that would meet the diverse needs of Calvary Worship Centre’s international congregation.

Another major challenge we faced was the building’s proximity to a nearby river, which introduced concerns about erosion and potential flooding. To address this, we took extra measures to ensure the safety and stability of the site. Our team conducted comprehensive ground testing and reinforced the foundation to ensure the building could stand the test of time, offering both safety and longevity for the congregation and the wider community it serves.

The project also saw fluctuations in material costs, particularly steel, which presented budgeting challenges. Throughout these changes, Companion Construction maintained clear and open communication with Calvary Worship Centre to ensure all updates were shared promptly and solutions were crafted in collaboration. Transparency was central to our approach, helping us deliver a project that did not compromise on the client’s vision.

Working with Calvary Worship Centre has been a rewarding experience, and we’re proud of the strong partnership we’ve built. This project truly highlights how a united team and clear communication can overcome even the most complex challenges. We’re eager to see how this beautiful space will serve and inspire people for generations to come!
